VTG TACHISTOSCOPE RHEEM CALIFONE PERCEPTA-MATIC W/ SLIDES PROJECTOR VIEW-MASTER

This is an excellent near mint condition Rheem Califone Perceptamatic Tachistoscope View-Master Projector with the Percepta-Phonics Teacher's Manual with 24 View-Master reels. This projector is considered to be the best 2-D ViewMaster projector ever made, however, t is a drawback, and I'll get to that in a minute. This projector is basically a Deluxe 300 watt View-Master projector with a fan that was custom-modified by the Rheem Company. They took this top-of-the-line 2-D projector and added some unusual modifications. Among other things, t is a special camera timer that allows the projected image to be shown between 1/10'th of a second to 1/100'th of a second, or in between, or to keep it in the open position. This was done to teach in a way that allowed the student only a small fraction of time to focus and learn as much as could be determined in a small amount of time.
